The University association football team lost its first-game to the Fall River Rovers on Saturday, by the score of 6 to 1. The University team's defence was good, Barron and Sibley playing especially well; but the forwards were unable to score, their shots lacking both drive and direction. The only Harvard goal was made by Winston. The University team lined up as follows: l.o.f., Needham: l.i.f., Sceamans; c.f., Winston; r.i.f., Carnochan; r.o.f., Byng; l.h.b., Richard; c.h.b., Swan; r.h.b., Moriss; l.f.b., Hailowell, de Lorica; r.f.b., Barron; g., Sibley.
