The University of Berlin, during the exercises celebrating its 100th anniversary, conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Medicine upon Professor T. W. Richards '86, of the Chemistry Department, and the degree of Doctor of Laws upon Associate Justices Oliver Wendell Holmes '61, of the Supreme Court.
