To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

More men are wanted for both second and University football squads. Owing to the openness of the game, the chance for substitution, and general need of a large second squad, there is large opportunity for men both experienced and inexperienced. Any men who show promise on the second team are watched carefully by the coaches and taken into the University squad.

The University squad will be larger than in the past year, thus necessitating a larger second squad also.

A schedule of games is already made for the second team and men playing in these games will be given the "H2D" insignia. These games will be played on Fridays and days on which the University team is away from Cambridge.

For those unacquainted with the present system, let it be known that a regular coaching staff has been organized for the second team and will hereafter take entire charge of the development of the team.

All men who expect to play class football, all men who have ever played football, and all men who wish to try, should report Monday at 4 o'clock at the Locker Building.

It is never too late; and remember the second team is the step leading to the University. L. WITHINGTON.
