The Senior basketball team defeated the Juniors last evening in the second game of the interclass series by the score of 39 to 23. The game was hard-fought and until the last few minutes very close. Just before the end of the first half, with the score tied at 9 points, the Seniors took the lead by making four goals in quick succession.
At the beginning of the second period the Juniors began to gain, only to have the Seniors score 12 points in the last few minutes. This was made possible by the superior team-work and goal-throwing of the Senior forwards and centre. The Juniors repeatedly missed shots during the game.
