1912 Defeated English H. S., 5 to o

The Freshman baseball team shut out the strong English High School team on Soldiers filed yesterday afternoon by the score of 5 to 0. Ernst pitched an exceptionally good game for the Freshmen, allowing but one hit and striking out ten men. The freshmen showed great improvement in team play and in batting, though twice they were unable to take advantage of hits by neglecting to touch bases.
