The University lacrosse team defeated Hobart at Geneva on Saturday by the score of 3 to 2 in a fast spectacular game. In passing Hobart was superior, but the strong defence of the University team kept the score down. Hobart's throws at the goal were wild and a number of times goals were missed by a narrow margin. Harvard's defence, and one goal was made partly by luck.
The summary: Goals--Prophet 2, Eisner 2, R. P. Smith. Referee--Partridge, Hobart. Goal umpires--Bailey, Harvard, and Nelles, Hobart. Timers--Waide, Harvard, and Stebbins, Hobart. Time--35 minute halves. This afternoon the University team will play the last game of its schedule with Cornell at Ithaca.
