BOWDOIN BASEBALL GAME

University Team to Face Strong Opponents at 4.--Change in Outfield.

The University baseball team will play Bowdoin this afternoon on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock. Brennan will start the game in the box for Harvard, and Files, an exceptionally good pitcher, will act in that capacity for Bowdoin. There will be two changes in the line-up this afternoon, Kemble and Haydock playing in the outfield where Aronson and Waters played on Saturday. Kemble has been a substitute on the University squad for the past three years, while Haydock has never had any experience with the University team before this year.

Last year Bowdoin defeated Harvard towards the end of the season by the score of 5 to 4. It was a very poorly played game by both teams, but Bowdoin managed to secure a run in the ninth and win out. The Bowdoin nine today will contain six of last year's team, and therefore a hard game is to be expected. Bowdoin with Files in the box has already defeated Brown 5 to 4, and Princeton in five innings 5 to 2. In the latter game Heyniger was the opposing pitcher. Bowdoin has, however, been beaten by the strong Seton Hall team, which beat the University of Vermont, and by New York University, 6 to 5.

The batting orders: HARVARD.  BOWDOIN. Leonard, 3b.  s.s., Lawliss Keefe, 2b.  l.f., McDade Briggs, 1b.  c.f., Caldwell Simons, s.s.  3b., Stanwood Lanigan, l.f.  p., Files Kemble, c.f.  2b., Manter Haydock, r.f.  1b., Clifford Currier, c.  r.f., Harris Brennan, Hicks, p.  c., Bower
