Although about 730 cards have been sent out for subscriptions to the permanent 1908 Class Fund, up to the present time only 121 or 1-6 of the entire number have been returned. The amount already pledged slightly exceeds $5,000, of which $374 on the first instalment due before Class Day has been paid in.
The Class Fund is to be invested and the income used for the expenses of reunions, triennial dinners, secretary's repots and other class charges. The principal will finally become part of the college endowment. An average individual subscription of $35 should be made, and is payable in five yearly instalments of $7 each, in order to provide a fund of about $18,000. First instalments should be sent as soon as possible to the Treasurer, Box D. Cambridge.
