Tickets for the University debate with Princeton, which will be held in Sanders Theatre Friday evening, March 20, will be distributed next week. Any member of the University may obtain two tickets free by applying by mail to the manager, W. J. Mack, Dane Hall, Cambridge, on or before next Saturday, March 14. All applications must contain stamped and addressed envelopes, and will be filled in the order in which they are received.
The Princeton debate this year will be on the question, "Resolved, That further material increases in the United States navy, are unadvisable." Princeton will uphold the negative and will be represented by T. S. Clark '08, M. H. Fry '08, and J. L. Kauffman '08. The Harvard speakers, who uphold the affirmative, are I. Dimond '09, H. Hurwitz '08, and I. L. Sharfman 1L.
Since the University team was chosen on February 20, it has been holding practice debates with the second team under the direction of Coach R. W. Kelso '04. Professor I. N. Hollis h.'99 will preside at the debate, and the judges will be Dean G. W. Kirchwey of the Columbia Law School, Dean H. W. Rogers of the Yale Law School, and Judge J. F. Dunbar of Boston.
