"It is a poor critic that resents criticism." The communication published in another column this morning presents a point of view different from that already given by and through the CRIMSON. In taking the stand it did, the CRIMSON, realizing that a bad mistake had been made, blamed the track management for an error in judgment. We still believe that this error was made. To say so can hardly be called jumping at conclusions. No one makes mistakes on purpose; the only fair way to consider the matter is whether or not the track management should have been able to foresee the result of its action. It may be, as our contributor points out, that this was an impossibility. Let us hope so. We are all just as anxious to turn out a winning team in the spring. We know that the coaches have done and will do their best. From now on we shall look forward to our prospects and not back at our mistakes.
