BROWN WON BASKETBALL

University Team Defeated at Providence by Score of 29 to 15.

The University basketball team was defeated by Brown Saturday night at Providence by the score of 29 to 15. The game was a disappointment in every way, the University team being completely outplayed. The passing of the Harvard team lacked accuracy, and its team work, particularly on the offence, was very weak.

The score at the end of the first half was 15 to 3 in Brown's favor. The University team then braced and in the second half succeeded in scoring seven to its opponent's four points. For Harvard, Brooks and G. Browne did the best work, and for Brown, Pryor, Regnier, and Raquet excelled.
