The University hockey team will play against University of Montreal, this afternoon, at 3 o'clock, in the Stadium. Tickets at the gate may be obtained at price for admission to the Stadium, extra for a reserved seat in the wooden stand. Season ticket holders will receive a reduction of 25 cents, but H. A. A. tickets do not admit to the game. Only holders of side-line badges will be admitted to the rink.
The McGill team, which finished second in the Eastern Collegiate League of Canada last year, has not played many games this season. It was defeated by Queen's College last week; but the game came just after the Christmas vacation, and the McGill team had not had a chance to play together. Several of the best players of last year's team have been lost by graduation, including Patrick and Gilmore.
The University team has not been defeated this year, and notwithstanding the lack of ice, has developed good team play. The forwards are strong and their stickwork is good; and the defence though it has not been overtaxed, has shown up well.
