The trials to select the University tennis team, which were postponed yesterday on account of the rain, will begin on Jarvis Field this afternoon. The schedule of matches is as follows:

Knauth '09; H. S. Davis '08 vs. A. N. Reggio '07; H. Powel '09 vs. J. P. Alley '09; P. Grant '08 vs. G. S. Taylor '08; K. S. Johnson '07 vs. H. W. Nichols '07.
At 3--Pearson '09 vs. Abeles '08; Ackerland '09 vs. G. Burt '08; H. P. Burt '08 vs. Davis '08; Powel '09 vs. Harlow '07; Knauth '09 vs. Johnson '07; Alley '09 vs. Brumley '07; Eggleston '09 vs. C. O. All matches will be for the best two out of three sets. Owing to the short time remaining in which to choose the team, matches must be played promptly at the time scheduled or be defaulted. The results must be posted in the CRIMSON office before 6 o'clock
