Several important changes were made yesterday afternoon in the orders of the University and second crews. Morgan, who has been stroking the University crew up to this time, was replaced by Farley, and was moved to number 4 in the second boat. Tappan, who has been rowing at bow in the University boat, was shifted to the port side and stroked the second crew. Burchard took Tappan's place at bow, and Wiggins went to his position in the second boat. Amberg rowed number 7 in the second crew, replacing Swaim, who was moved up in the boat to number 3.

All three crews rowed upstream beyond the Infirmary and then went downstream almost to Harvard bridge.
