Result of Intercollegiate Fencing

In the finals of the Intercollegiate Fencing meet, held in the New York Athletic Club on Saturday night, Annapolis won by the score of fourteen out of eighteen bouts. West Point was second, winning ten out of eighteen; Cornell third, winning three out of eighteen; and Yale fourth, having lost all of her bouts. Harvard, Pennsylvania, and Princeton failed to qualify. In the semi-finals, Harvard was defeated by Yale by the score of seven to two. The bouts resulted as follows: A. C. Scalley (Y.) defeated C. A. Bliss '08; W. F. Low '07 defeated G. Hass (Y.); B. H. Smith (Y.) defeated G. L. Cutting '09; G. Hass (Y.) defeated C. A. Bliss '08; W. F. Low '07 defeated B. H. Smith (Y.); A. C. Scalley (Y.) defeated G. L. Cutting '09; B. H. Smith (Y.) defeated C. A. Bliss '08; A. C. Scalley (Y.) defeated W. F. Low '07; and G. Hass (Y.) defeated G. L. Cutting '09.

W. F. Low '07 qualified for the individual championship, which was won by C. H. Dickinson of West Point. J. C. Richmond, of Annapolis, was second in this event.
