At a meeting of the Athletic Committee last night the appointments of H. Foster, Jr., '07 and M. L. Newhall '08 as coach and assistant coach of the Freshman baseball team were approved. The appointment of S. Smith '09 as manager of the University swimming team was also approved.
The report on the speculation in Yale game tickets was referred to the committee in charge of seats for next year. The question of giving out tickets to men whose tickets were found in the hands of speculators last fall was left to the discretion of the committee.
