Conferences on Foreign Missions

Under the joint auspices of the Christian Association, the Harvard Mission, and the St. Paul's Society, a series of talks beginning next Thursday, will be given in Phillips Brooks House, on the subject of mission work in foreign countries. The object of the talks is to put before the students of the University some details of the work being carried on by foreign missions.

The first talk, on next Thursday, will be by C. A. R. Zanvier of Philadelphia and India, who will speak on "Missions in India," giving special reference to the work of E. C. Carter '00. On April 11, talks will be given by M. R. Edwards 3M., on "Medical Missions," S. Sweet of the Episcopal Theological School on "Evangelistic Missions," W. N. Lacy '07, on "Education of Missions," and E. T. Wentworth '09, on "Missionary Work as a Calling."

At some later date in April, yet to be decided, E. B. Tewksbury '99 and A. W. Cook of the Divinity School will speak. On May 2, the members of the Harvard Mission will present, at a meeting, the work of 25 men, who are now occupied in foreign missionary fields.
