The committee appointed by the Board of Overseers to investigate inter-collegiate athletics submitted their report to the Board at their meeting last Wednesday. The report was laid on the table, and will probably be taken up at the next meeting of the Board on March 13. In the meantime a report of the action of the committee is being printed, to be sent to the Overseers.
Contrary to newspaper reports, no authoritative statement as to the recommendations of the committee has as yet been issued.
