The Musical Club of the Department of Music will give its fourth annual concert this evening at 8 o'clock in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Museum. Reserved seat tickets at $1 each are on sale at the University Bookstore, and will be sold at the door this evening.
The club was founded in 1898, and has for its object the promotion of musical knowledge and appreciation in the University. The club is composed of officers and students in the Department of Music in the University, and meetings are held during the year at which the members perform standard works and original compositions, and discuss subjects of general musical interest.
Tonight's program is of particular interest on account of the large number of original compositions to be rendered, in addition to works by standard composers. Three of the seven numbers are composed by students in the Department of Music, and all will be rendered by members of the club.
