There will be a meeting of the Good Government League of Cambridge in the Committee Room of the Union tonight at 8 o'clock, at which the work of the League will be described and the duties of volunteer assistants explained. Arthur Drinkwater '00 will preside.
The work will consist in looking up the records of candidates for office in the City of Cambridge at the coming municipal election. It will be absolutely impartial in its aim, the object being to make the voters of the city as thoroughly as possible acquainted with the qualifications of the candidates of all parties.
All members of the University who, either from personal interest in the municipal government of Cambridge, or from a desire for experience in a useful field of good government work, are willing to enlist as volunteer workers for the Good Government League, will be interested in the meeting tonight.
