The Faculty of Arts and Sciences announces that four scholarships will be awarded, shortly after the beginning of the second half-year, to Freshmen who are deserving and in need of assistance. These four scholarships are two Crowninshield Scholarships, the Scholarship of the class of 1867, and the Mary L. Whitney Scholarship. In awarding the Scholarship of the class of 1867, preference will be given to children or grand-children of members of the class.
Freshmen who have already applied for Price Greenleaf Aid at its second assignment will be considered candidates for these scholarships without further action on their part. All other Freshmen wishing to become applicants must apply on forms which may be obtained at the office of the Secretary of the Faculty in the north entry of University Hall, now designated as University 20. The applications accompanied by the necessary certificates from parents or guardians, must be left at University 20 before January 24, 1907.
Two Joseph Eveleth Scholarships will be awarded soon after the beginning of the second half-year to special students, if applications are received from deserving men by January 24, 1907. Blank forms of application may be obtained at University 20.
