A new half-course, one of the "Afternoon and Saturday Courses for Teachers," will begin on February 9. The name of the course is "The Contemporary German Drama; Interpretation, Discussion, and Criticism of the More important Works of the German Dramatists of the Nineteenth Century", and it will be conducted by Mr. W. G. Howard, instructor in German. The course is offered as a continuation of Professor Kuenemann's course on "Das deutsche Drama der Gegenwart." The intention is to supplement and illustrate Professor Kuehnemann's lectures by the detailed examination of particular plays. The course will be conducted in English.
The first meeting will be on Saturday, February 9, at 10 o'clock, in Room B of Emerson Hall, and meetings will be continued at the same place and hour on Saturdays during February, March, April and May. Inquiries concerning the work of the course may be addressed to Mr. W. G. Howard, Conant 25. The fee for the course will be $15, which should be sent by check or post-office order to Charles F. Mason, Bursar, Dane Hall.
