HOCKEY WITH GRADUATES

In the Stadium Rink at 3 o'clock.--University Team has the Advantage.

The University hockey team will play a team of graduates this afternoon in the Stadium at 3 o'clock. Among the graduates there are several very good players who have had much experience on former University teams. Nevertheless, their lack of training and practice will give the University team a decided advantage.

In case the game is cancelled because of poor weather conditions a notice will be posted in Leavitt & Peirce's window.

The two teams will line up as follows: HARVARD.  GRADUATES. Pell, l.e.  r.e., MacLeod '04 Townsend, l.c.  r.c., Goodridge '98 Rumsey, r.c.  l.c., Winsor '02 Newhall, r.e.  l.e., Lovering '03 Foster, c.p.  c.p., Penhallow '03 Willetts, p.  p., Marshall '04 Carpenter, g.  g., Ivy '04

Snow Prevented Fast Practice Yesterday.

The hockey practice for the University team yesterday afternoon consisted in a 25-minute line-up between the first and second teams, in which the first team defeated the second by a score of 6 to 0. Because of the snow and the presence of the men who were keeping the rink cleared, fast team play was impossible. Once or twice, however, Rumsey and Newhall passed and scored cleverly. New-hall made the first goal on a pass across the rink from Pell. Fraser-Campbell quickly made another goal, receiving the rubber from Newhall. Then followed a long series of rushes up and down the ice, neither goal being seriously threatened. Finally the first team scored by clever passing, and a few seconds later Rumsey sent the puck into the net on a pass by Pell from the side of the rink. The last score of the period was the result of individual work by Pell.
