The University tennis team won its twelfth consecutive victory over Yale in the annual dual match at New Haven on Saturday by the score of 7 to 2. The Yale team was one of the strongest that has played against Harvard, having defeated Columbia on May 19 by the score of 9 to 0. The University team, however, was clearly superior, winning all but one match in the singles and all but one in the doubles. By winning five of the six matches in singles, the University team had scored enough points to win the contest before commencing the matches in doubles.

Nearly all of the single matches were won with ease. The most brilliant play of the day was that in the match between Niles and Behr, which Niles won by his excellent break service and steady drives. In the doubles, Harvard won two out of the three matches, though the scores were in general closer than in the singles.
