The University tennis team will play its twelfth annual match with Yale on the courts of the New Haven Lawn Club at New Haven today. Single matches for the best two out of three sets will be played in the morning; and doubles for the best three out of five sets will be played in the afternoon. In the scoring, each match won will count one point.
The University team was definitely chosen last Tuesday after a series of trials, and during the past week has been practicing daily at Longwood. Thus far Harvard has won all of the eleven dual matches played with Yale, and as most of the men on this year's team are experienced players, the chances are in ravor of another Harvard victory.
The pairings for the matches are as follows:
Singles--Niles vs. Behr; Sulloway vs. Dolbeare; Smither vs. Spaulding; Morse vs. Wells; Howland vs. Partridge; Eiseman vs. Marcus.
Doubles Niles and Sulloway vs. Behr and Wells; Smither and Morse vs. Polbeare and Marcus; Howland and Eiseman vs. Spaulding and Partridge.
