NEW YORK, May 11.--The University lacrosse team defeated Columbia here today by a score of 3 to 2. In the game, which was extremely rough, Harvard was weakened by the loss of Daniels, whose nose was broken. Both sides played a poor game, owing largely to the bad condition of the field. The Harvard attack was weak, showing want of team play.

Game with Crescent Athletic Club Today

This afternoon the University team will play the Crescent Athletic Club, at Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The team will return to Cambridge on the midnight train tonight.
