The Freshman baseball team was defeated by Andover Saturday afternoon in a loosely played game by the score of 4 to 1. Merritt of Andover did the better work, making 10 strikeouts.
In the third inning after two were out, Murphy reached first on an error by Paine. He was advanced by Hennessey's single and the two were brought home on Daly's three-base hit. Daly scored on Fel's single. A base on balls, a single by Daly, and an error by Dana were responsible for Andover's fourth run in the fifth inning. The Freshmen's only run was made in the eighth.
