The baseball games scheduled for March having been cancelled on account of the condition of the field and the weather, the university team opened its season with a game with Dickinson. Princeton won by the score of 5 to 0, and in the next game defeated Fordham 7 to 1. The development of the team has been greatly retarded by lack of outdoor practice, but, taking that into account, the showing made in the two opening games has been very satisfactory.

The Triangle Club gave four presentations of its new musical comedy, "Tabasco Sand", last week. On April 14 a dress rehearsal was given before the faculty and invited guests, followed on the next evening by the annual undergraduate performance. Saturday afternoon and evening the club appeared in New York at the Waldorf-Astoria, where the play was well received before large audiences. During the Easter trip the Club will appear in Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Louisville.

The second freshman debate with Yale, held on April 6, was won by Princeton. The subject was: "Resolved, That the principle of intervention, enunciated in the pending treaty with Sante Domingo, should be rejected by the United States." Princeton was represented by F. C. Laubach, E. C. Olds, and M. H. Fry. J. S. McConaughy, M. B. Vilas, and E. T. Clark made up the Yale team.

The 1907 Editorial Board of "The Nassau Literary Magazine" for the coming year will be composed of the following men: T. J. Durell, managing editor, T. C. Pears, Jr., J. N. Sayre, R. W. Owen, J. A. Muller, J. W. Evans, and G. A. Walker, Jr., business manager.

In the Intercollegiate wrestling meet held in the Columbia gymnasium Friday evening, Princeton secured fourth place, winning four bouts. D. G. Herring '07 was the only man to win his bout in the finals, securing falls in both the finals and preliminaries in less than two minutes.

Spring football practice began over a week ago and is being held four times a week. About 40 candidates have reported and have been given elementary work under the direction of Coach W. W. Roper '02 and Captain H. L. Dillon '07.

In response to the call for freshman baseball candidates 32 men reported last week. Light practice under the direction of upperclass coaches has been given the men daily.
