Yale Letter

On Saturday, February 24 President Hadley made public for the first time before the Federation of Western Alumni Associations of Yale the vote of the corporation in regard to a new organization to be known as the Alumni Advisory Board. The underlying purpose is to meet the desire of graduates in different sections of the country for representation in the councils of the University--a desire which cannot be entirely satisfied through membership in the Yale Corporation.

Last Thursday evening Yale won from Columbia in basketball by a score of 17 to 15. A preliminary game was played between the Yale and Columbia freshman teams, in which Yale won with a score of 23 to 10. Yale was, however, defeated by Pennsylvania Friday evening by a score of 23 to 11.
