Freshmen Won Basketball

The Freshman basketball team defeated the Brown freshmen in the Gymnasium Saturday afternoon by the score of 33 to 11. From the beginning the Harvard Freshmen assumed the offensive and at the end of the first period led by the score of 17 to 4. The Freshmen covered their men closely, so that the Brown team, though by fast play it kept the ball in the Freshmen's territory most of the time, scored only three baskets from the floor. On the offense the Freshmen showed consistent team work, but missed a number of easy goals. Both teams were weak on free throws from fouls.
