At the last meeting of the Corporation the Rt. Rev. C. H. Brent D.D., bishop of the Philippines, was appointed the William Belden Noble Lecturer for the Academic year 1907-08. The lectures will probably be held in December, 1907. As yet no lecturer has been appointed for this academic year.

By agreement between Mrs. William Belden Noble, the founder of the lectures, and the Corporation, the terms governing the Foundation have been revised. The principal change is that by which the appointment of the lecturers is committed to the Corporation, instead of being made by the so-called trustees. The body which formerly appointed the lecturers, has consequently been dissolved. It was made up of the following: President C. W. Eliot, Professor F. G. Peabody, Rev. George Hodges D.D., Professor A. V. G. Allen, Rev. Alexander McKenzie, Rt. Rev. William Lawrence D.D., and the Rev. G. A. Gordon D.D.
