The second Vesper Service of the year will be held in Appleton Chapel this afternoon at 5 o'clock. The Rev. S. A. Eliot '84, D. D., of Cambridge, will conduct the service. The following musical program will be rendered: "The Great Day of the Lord," Martin; "The People that Walk in Darkness," solo from "The Messiah" by Handel; "O Great Jehovah," Mozart. Mr. D. M. Babcock '77 will be the soloist.
Front seats will be reserved for members of the University and officers of instruction and their families until 4.55 o'clock.
