Candidates for the University and Freshman basketball teams will be called out next Monday, and thereafter the Gymnasium will be open until 9 o'clock every evening for regular basketball work. The games of the interclass series will be held on December 12, 13 and 15. Cups and sweaters will be awarded to the winning team by the management. After the Christmas holidays the University and Freshman squads will be picked. No regular coach has been decided upon as yet. After the mid-year period, the scrub series for men who do not make the University or Freshman team will be held, and cups will be awarded to the winners of the series.

Of last year's team E. Burnham '07, captain, H. V. Amberg '08, S. Broun '08, and P. Brooks '09 are eligible. Last season the team finished third in the intercollegiate league.
