At a special meeting of the Board of Overseers, held yesterday morning, it was voted to concur with the Corporation in allowing intercollegiate athletics to be held at Harvard until July 1, 1907.
The general question of athletic regulation and the continuance of intercollegiate athletics at Harvard is not decided by this action of the two boards. The joint committee of the Corporation and the Board of Overseers, at its first meeting early this month, decided that it would not have time before December 1 to work out a new plan for athletic regulation or to decide whether the present plan shall be continued indefinitely. This being the case, the time during which dates for intercollegiate games may be arranged has been extended to the end of the College year.
