The rowing authorities at Oxford and Cambridge have declined the invitation of the commissioners of the Jamestown Exposition to send over the winner of the next British inter-university crew race to meet the winner of the next Harvard-Yale race. The proposition was made that the race should be held at the exposition next summer.
