Debating Library Started in Dane

A library has recently been started in Dane Hall for the use of members of the Debating Clubs. The following books have been obtained: Professor Baker's "Principles of Argumentation," "Specimens of Argumentation," and "Forms of Public Address;" the Reports of the Inter-State Commerce Commission, 1894-1905, a few later Commissioners' Reports and a set of the "World's Orators." The books dealing with the Yale debate question have been transferred from Gore Hall and an effort will be made to get government documents bearing on subjects on which debates are likely to be held. A scrap-book of all debating interests in the University will be kept. The debating authorities request that members will aid the library by their donations.

The following magazines and papers have been subscribed for: the American Review of Reviews, the North American Review, the Outlook, McClure's, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the New York Daily Tribune, Collier's, the London Weekly Times, the Nation, and the Harvard CRIMSON, Lampoon, Monthly and Advocate.
