At a meeting of the Athletic Committee last night the appointment of J. Weare '07 as manager of the fencing team and G. Emerson '08 as assistant manager of the track team was approved.
It was voted to sanction the entry of the cross-country team in the Intercollegiate cross-country championship, held at Princeton, New Jersey, November 28, and also the dual cross-country race between the University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on November 16.
The Graduate Treasurer was authorized to expend $1500 on the building of tennis courts on Soldiers Field.
It was decided to award numerals to the members of the winning team of the three upper classes in the interclass football series.
