UNION LECTURE TONIGHT AT 8

Illustrated Talk on Animal Life in the North.--Union Members Only.

Mr. William Lyman Underwood will lecture this evening in the Living Room of the Union at 8 o'clock on "A Strange Story of the North Woods: A Study of Animal Life in the Wilderness." The lecture will be illustrated by stereopticon views, and is open to members of the Union only.

Mr. Underwood is a lecturer on biology and bacteriology in the Institute of Technology and has contributed several articles to various magazines. For the last twenty years he has spent from eight to ten weeks a year photographing wild animal life in the woods of Maine, and New Brunswick and in Florida.

In the course of his lecture Mr. Underwood will describe the life of the Maine lumbermen in their winter camps and of the river drivers in the spring, and will tell the story of a bear cub, caught near one of the lumber camps.
