WEST POINT GAME TODAY

Team Left Yesterday, Afternoon After Light Signal Practice.

The University football team will play the United States Military Academy this afternoon at West Point in what will probably be its first hard game of the season. Seven members of last year's West Point team, which held Harvard to a score of 6 to 0, will be in the game today, whereas but four of Harvard's last year's team are again in the lineup.

West Point defeated Williams last Saturday by the score of 17 to 0, playing a fast, hard game. Three weeks ago West Point defeated Trinity 24 to 0; and on the following Saturday tied Colgate 0 to 0 after twice getting within striking distance of their opponent's goal. The team is very strong one, although somewhat lighter than last year.

The probable line-up of the two teams follows: HARVARD.  WEST POINT. Miller, l.e.  r.e., Stearns Osborne, l.t.  r.t., Pullen Burr, l.g.  r.g., Christy Parker, Fraser, c.  c., Sultan Kersburg, r.g.  l.g., Erwin Inches, r.t.  l.t., Weeks Orr, r.e.  l.e., Hanlon Newhall, q.b.  q.b., Johnston Foster, l.h.  r.h., Hill Lincoln, r.h.  l.h., Morse Wendell, f.b.  f.b., Mountford

Yesterday after a short period of punting, the University team ran through easy signal practice. The men left Cambridge at 4 o'clock on a special car, and took the 4.50 boat train for Fall River. They will return to New York immediately after the game and spend the night at the Murray Hill hotel, leaving on the 10.03 train tomorrow morning for Boston.
