The College Men's Political Association of New York City, composed of leading college graduates, will send letters before Commencement to all members of graduating classes in the College and Law School whose homes are in New York, offering them opportunities for political work in New York. No matter what a man's party may be he will be given an opening in the party of his choice, the Association believing that the influx of college men into politics will be for the good of the city. The Association is in coach with leading politicians in New York, who assist in finding places for college men.
This Association has been working in conjunction with the Political Club in finding out with what men to communicate, and in sending Hon. Soth Low, Mr. Joseph Johnson, and others, to speak before the University.
The Association has succeeded in arousing interest in New York politics among all the leading colleges in the cast, hoping thereby to get college men interested in the city government. Last year it succeeded in finding political openings for 158 college graduates.
The Harvard members of the Association are: A. G. Fox '69, president; R. B. Cutting '97; W. A. M. Burden '00; and T. H. Whitney '00.
