The University handicap track games will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Stadium. Three hundred and eighteen entries have been made, and some close contests are expected. The track is in excellent condition. Cups will be awarded as prizes for first and second places in each event. The games will be held unless the weather conditions are extremely unfavorable. All competitors should report promptly, although the schedule of the times of the events is only approximate. No contestant should leave the Locker Building until he has called at the janitor's office for his number. Handicaps will not be announced until directly before the games. About twenty additional men will be taken to the training table of the track team tomorrow. In selecting these men the results of the games today will be considered.
A fee of 25 cents will be charged all spectators except holders of H. A. A. or baseball press tickets. Admission tickets may be purchased at Leavitt & Peirce's or at the field.
