Bishop J. H. Vincent h.'96, will deliver the first of the series of public addresses under the auspices of the Religious Union on "Phases of Religious Experience" this evening at 7.30 o'clock in Peabody Hall, Phillips Brooks House. Bishop Vincent will speak from the Methodist point of view. These lectures will be given various denominations, with the purpose of bringing out the main facts in the religious life of each body.
Bishop Vincent took a degree of A.B. at Mt. Union College, Alliance, Ohio, in 1875, and in 1896 received an S.T.D. from Harvard. After having pastorates in several cities, he was appointed resident European Bishop of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1900. He is the author of "Studies in Young Life." and a number of books.
