To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

Having heard that the authorship of the Graduate's Window article in the Graduates' Magazine for December has been attributed to various editorial assistants, past and present, of the magazine, I wish to state that these rumors are entirely unfounded. No member of the staff knew of the existence of the article until its publication. Let me add that the Graduate's Window department has existed for twelve years for the publication of free lance contributions, and that only on the present occasion have some graduates imputed to it an editorial or official character. That such an imputation would be made, could not be foreseen. There never has been an expression of "editorial" opinion in the Magazine; and the article in question was printed in the Graduate's Window as an indication that it was in no sense authoritative.
