To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

Permit me to express a wish that no member of the Union will miss the opportunity of hearing Mr. Horace Fletcher's address tonight. The subject on which he will speak is of fundamental importance both to the individual and to the State. If his observations on diet, confirmed already on a limited scale, should prove true on a universal scale, it is impossible to overestimate their revolutionary import. Mr. Fletcher is one of the most original and "sympathetic" personalities whom Massachusetts in our day has produced. His teaching and example have been of such vital benefit to certain persons whom I know, that I feel as if every student ought to give himself the benefit of this rare opportunity. WILLIAM JAMES.
