Successful Clothing Collection

The clothing collection, which has been taken by the Social Service Committee, is the largest ever made in the fall. Clothing of all sorts and about three-quarters of a ton of books and magazines were received. Large cases of clothing have been sent to the following charities and institutions: Tuskegee Institute, Alabama, Seamen's Friends Society, Boston, Morgan Memorial, Boston, St. Vincent de Paul, South Boston, Cambridge Associated Charities, St. James's parish, North Cambridge; and in smaller cases to many other philanthropical institutions. The books and magazines were distributed among the following institutions: Cambridge Hospital, Holy Ghost Hospital, Cambridge, T Wharf Sailors' Reading Room, Boston, Morgan Memorial, Boston, and Newspaper Hospital, Boston.

The spring collection will be taken about April 25, 1906, and men are requested to save, until that time, any clothing, books, or magazines which they may be willing to give.
