At a meeting of the Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association of America, held on Saturday night in New York a place for the spring Intercollegiate track games was discussed. The two places chosen to be submitted to the executive committee at the next meeting, in January, were New York and Cambridge. The former, though an excellent central meeting place, has the disadvantage of having unsuitable track facilities.
An amendment to the constitution was passed to the effect that the profits of the annual meets be distributed in dividends among the different colleges in proportion to the number of men from each who complete. The number of entries permitted in one event by each college was changed from eight to twelve.
The six universities, all of whom sent members, except Pennsylvania, were represented as follows: Harvard, W. G. Graves '06; Yale, M. B. Sands; Princeton, W. C. Matter; Columbia, J. R. Hoyt; Cornell, A. Starr.
