There is good skating today at the following places in the vicinity: Jamaica Pond at Jamaica Plain, Hammond's Pond at Chestnut Hill, Franklin Field at Roxbury, Neponset Playground at Neponset, the Charles River at Riverside and Cow Island Pond and Dedham, Billings Field at West Roxbury, Gibson Playground at Dorchester, North Brighton Playground at North Brighton, Roslindale Playground at Roslindale, the Artificial at Franklin Park at Roxbury, Wood Island Park at East Boston, Mystic Lake at Winchester, Public Garden at Boston. There is fair ice at Artificial Pond, Spy Pond and the Arlington Reservoir at Arlington, and on Soldiers Field. At the Boston Common and the Mill Ponds at Waverley the skating is poor.
