There is good skating today at the following places in the vicinity: Franklin Field at Roxbury, Gibson Playground at Dorchester, Neponset Playground at Neponset, Roslindale Playground at Roslindale, the Charles River at Riverside and Cow Island Pond and Dedham, Jamaica Pond at Jamaica Plain, North Brighton Playground at North Brighton, Billings Field at West Roxbury, the Artificial at Franklin Park at Roxbury, and Wood Island Park at East Boston. The ice is in fair condition at Hammond's Pond at Chestnut Hill, Spy Pond, Artificial Pond and the Arlington Reservoir at Arlington, the Charles River at Norumbega Park, the Public Garden at Boston, and on Soldiers Field.
