At a meeting of the Board of Overseers yesterday, which was presided over by Hon. J. D. Long '57, it was voted to concur with the President and Fellows in making the following appointments and re-appointments for one year, from September 1, 1904: Appointing J. H. Vincent h.'96, LL.D., and re-appointing Lyman Abbott h.'90, LL.D., Henry Van Dyke H.'94, LL.D., F. W. Tomkins '72, and W. W. Fenn '84, S.T.B., as preachers to the University: O. M. W. Sprague '94, Ph.D., assistant professor of economics for five years from September 1, 1904. C. M. Green '74, M.D., was elected associate professor of obstetrics and clinical gynecology.
