An exhibition of original work by the members of the Pen and Brush Club is now open in the Exhibition Room of Robinson Hall, to last throughout this week, from 9 a. m. to 6 p. m. The drawings, about one hundred in number, are divided into two classes, one consisting entirely of architectural designs and the other of all the remaining contributions, such as water color sketches, pen and ink drawings, pencil sketches, book covers and illustrations, book-plates. The following award of prizes was made yesterday afternoon, architectural class: first prize, H. E. Warren '04, design for municipal buildings; second prize, E.B. VanWinkle, Jr., 1G., same subject; third prize, A. E. Hoyle '04, same subject. Honorable mention: H. E. Warren '04, whole exhibit, and R. F. Otero '06, design for a court house. Miscellaneous contributions: first prize. F. G. Hale '03, book-plate; second prize. J. H. Breck '07, seascape: third prize. W. N. Taylor '03 and A. E. Hoyle '04, still life studies. Honorable mention: W. C. Dexter '06, pencil drawing from a cast: H. E. Warren '04, pencil study; W. N. Taylor '04, study in oils; F. G. Hall '03, whole exhibit; R. C. Sturgis, Jr., '05, two book-plates.
